Website Review

A friendly, actionable look at your website

You feel like something’s off about your site, but you’re not sure what’s wrong or where to focus. A Website Review gives you that clarity. I’ll take a comprehensive look at your site and let you know what’s working, what needs attention, and what to tackle first.

What is a Website Review?

Here’s what’s included:

This might be right for you if:

STEP 1

Sign up and tell me about your site.
After checkout, you’ll fill out a short form with your website URL and a little context about what’s bugging you most (it’s okay if you’re not sure!).

STEP 2

I review your entire site and record your video. Within 3 to 5 business days, I’ll go through your site and record a video walkthrough covering each individual page and your site as a whole, with notes on what’s working, what needs attention, and what to work on first.

STEP 3

You get your video and written summary. Everything lands in your inbox, ready to watch, reference, and act on whenever you’re ready.

questions + answers

What exactly do you cover in a Website Review?

A lot! I work to make the review as comprehensive and actionable as possible. Here’s the short(ish) version:

Your homepage gets its own deep dive. I look at first impressions, whether there’s something obvious for visitors to do without scrolling, your headline, your main call to action, your content, and your trust signals (things like your photo, bio, and testimonials).

Every other page gets a thorough check too. For each page I look at the headline, the call to action, whether the content is clear and readable (good use of headings and spacing), meta titles and descriptions, and whether anything important seems to be missing.

Then I look at your site as a whole. That covers navigation, mobile responsiveness, basic SEO, accessibility (including alt text on images), image optimization and page speed, branding consistency, broken links, your footer, contact information, social media links, forms, and additional smaller details.

The written summary you receive pulls all of this together into a prioritized list so you know exactly what to tackle first and what can wait.

What kind of sites do you review?

Any service-based business or nonprofit website. I have experience with WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Weebly, and custom-built sites. If you’re not sure whether your site is a good fit, reach out and ask. I’m happy to let you know.

How is this different from a Website Reset Day?

A Website Review gives you clarity and direction. I look at your site and tell you what I’d focus on. A Website Reset Day is where I actually do the work. Think of the review as the map and the Reset Day as the road trip. And if you decide to book a Reset Day within 30 days of your review, you receive a $100 credit.

How is this different from a Free Homepage Audit?

The free Homepage Audit looks at your homepage only and wraps up with one clear recommended next step, which makes it a great starting point if you’re not sure where to begin. The Website Review goes deeper and wider, covering your entire site plus things like basic SEO, accessibility, and page speed, with a longer video, more detailed written summary, and a prioritized checklist of recommendations. Not sure which one is right for you? Start with the free audit and go from there.

What if I don’t know what’s wrong with my site?

That’s exactly what this is for. You don’t need to come in with a list of problems. Just share your site URL and I’ll take it from there.

How long until I get my review?

You’ll receive your video and written summary within 3 to 5 business days of submitting your intake form.

What if I want help making the changes?

That’s what the Website Reset Day is for. After watching your review, if you’d rather hand off the work, you can book a Reset Day and your review fee applies as a credit toward the cost.
