Friendly feedback on your website
You know that sinking feeling you get when someone says “I’ll check out your website?” That’s a sign your site needs some attention, and this is a super low-pressure way to find out your next best step – whether it’s a few targeted fixes, a more thorough refresh, or starting over (which isn’t as as scary as it sounds!).
What You’ll Get
- A short video walkthrough of your website covering what’s working well and what could be improved.
- A clear recommendation on what kind of help makes the most sense for your website, whether that’s a few focused fixes, a bigger overhaul, or starting fresh.
- Kind, practical observations delivered to your inbox within a week from someone who has been looking at websites for over 20 years.
This is a good fit if:
- You cringe a little when someone asks for your website address.
- You’ve been meaning to fix your site but aren’t sure where to start.
- You want an honest outside perspective from someone who isn’t going to make you feel bad your site (trust me, I’ve seen it all!).

questions + answers
Will you judge my website?
Absolutely not! I’ve seen every kind of website over the past 20 years, from gorgeous brand new sites to ones that haven’t been touched since 2015, and I promise there is nothingggggg you could show me that would make me cringe. All I want to do is help you figure out what to do next, not make you feel worse about where you are.
What will you actually look at?
I go through your whole site the way a first-time visitor would. On every page I’m asking: is the copy easy to understand, does it look good on a phone, and is there an obvious next step? I also look at the things specific to each page, like whether your homepage tells folks who you are and what you do, whether your About page sounds like a real human wrote it, whether your Services page makes it easy to take the next step, and whether your contact form actually works.
Then I step back and look at the bigger picture: does this site just need some targeted fixes, or would something more involved serve you better? You’ll walk away with a clear recommendation, not just a list of problems.
How does it work?
Fill out the form above and you’ll get a welcome email from me shortly after. Click the Request Your Review button, fill out the form, and I’ll take it from there. Within a week you’ll have a short video walkthrough of your site in your inbox, along with a brief written summary and a clear recommended next step.
When will I get the review back?
Within a week of sending me your URL. I fit reviews in around client work and content creation to keep things sustainable on my end, which is part of how I’m able to offer them for free. If anything comes up that might change the timing, I’ll let you know ahead of time so you’re not left wondering.
Wait, this is actually free?
Truly, actually free. Signing up adds you to my mailing list where I send one or two genuinely useful emails a month, but you’re welcome to unsubscribe any time. If you find the review helpful and want more support down the road, great. If you take the feedback and handle everything yourself, also great. There’s no pressure either way!
My site is pretty rough. Is that okay?
You’re exactly who this is for! Whether you built it yourself, haven’t touched it in years, or just know something feels off but can’t put your finger on it, you’re in the right place.
What kind of websites do you review?
I work with all kinds of small businesses, whether you’re a therapist, a florist, a yoga studio, a bookkeeper, or anything in between. If you have a website where the goal is to help people learn about you and get in touch or book something, you’re a great fit.
Where I’m less helpful is with product-based businesses with complex ecommerce stores – think Shopify sites with large product catalogs, inventory management, and lots of moving parts. I can still take a look but my feedback will be more general in those cases since that’s not my area of expertise.
What happens after I get my review?
That’s completely up to you – just know there’s no pressure on my end.
A lot of people take the feedback and start working through it on their own, which is great. If you decide you’d rather have someone handle the updates for you, a Website Reset Day is one focused day where I do exactly that. And if your review turns up that you’d be better served by a brand new site, a Quick Build gets you there in three days.
