How A Quick Build Works
What is a Quick Build?
A Quick Build is a laser-focused three-day build where I create a complete, professional website for your business from scratch. And it’s not like I’m rushing and leaving things out – this is a streamlined process built from 20 years of web experience with a clear plan and milestones.
It’s a great fit for service-based small businesses who need a brand new site without a months-long timeline or an unpredictable price tag.
Here’s what’s included:
- Up to 5 main pages and 5 additional sub-pages
- Copy and content collaboration
- Basic SEO (titles, descriptions, headings, internal links, sitemap)
- Basic accessibility (alt text, heading structure, color contrast)
- Contact form hookup and testing
- Mobile-friendly design and testing
- A full Loom walkthrough when it’s done
- One week of content tweaks after launch
How it Works
Step 1: Pre-work
I’ll confirm availability and timelines, collect your deposit, and start the pre-work process to get ready for your build. Once that’s complete, we’ll schedule your build days!
Step 2: Build Days
I spend three focused days building your site. On Day 2 you’ll get a look at the working site and a chance to give feedback. Day 3 is final polish and your video walkthrough.
Step 3: Wrap-up
Once your balance is paid, your site goes live and you’ll receive the details on how to edit your site. I’m happy to tackle minor tweaks for one week while everything is fresh.

questions + answers
What platform do you build on?
Quick Builds are currently built using WordPress, which gives you a lot of flexibility as your business grows. I include a video walkthrough on how to edit your content if needed, and will point out what not to touch too! A Squarespace option is coming soon.
What about domain and hosting?
You’ll need a domain name and hosting to get your site live. I recommend Namecheap for domains and EasyWP (also through Namecheap) for hosting since it’s easier to have everything in one place. I’ll walk you through setting both up so you’re not figuring it out on your own!
Are there any recurring costs after launch?
The main recurring costs are your domain name renewal ($10-15/yr on Namecheap) and your hosting plan ($70/yr after any initial promos on Namecheap), which are typically paid yearly. But there’s no ongoing fees for me after launch! (unless you’re interested in a Care Plan, but I’ll share more on that after launch)
What do I need to provide?
Your branding materials, photos, and website content. Don’t worry though, I’ll walk you through exactly what I need and when so it never feels like too much all at once. The more detail you give me, the better your site will reflect your business!
How does scheduling work?
We’ll lock in your build dates after the pre-work is complete. I’ll walk you through everything step by step, starting with your site structure, then branding materials, then content, and finally hosting setup. Once everything is in place we’ll pick your dates and get it on the calendar!
What if I need more than 10 pages?
Quick Builds are scoped for up to 10 pages (5 main, 5 subpages) which covers most service-based small businesses comfortably. If you need more than that, let me know and we can talk through what makes sense.
What’s not included?
A Quick Build doesn’t include branding/logo design, premium plugins, e-commerce functionality, or ongoing maintenance after one week of post-launch tweaks.
Do you offer ongoing support after launch?
Yes! If you’d like to keep your site running smoothly in the background while you focus on your real work, a monthly Care Plan is a great choice. I’ll share more about these after launch, but they’re a great way to clear up the mental space that your website can take up.

Availability varies, so the best way to find out is to fill out the request form. I’ll get back to you within a few business days with details on my current availability.
