questions & answers

Wondering about something? Here are a few common questions.

I try to make it as low-stress as possible! We’ll have an initial meeting to talk about your work and what you’re looking for. From there, I’ll get to work designing the site and writing the content (or polishing what you send me). Once the first version is ready, we’ll review it together, test everything, and make any final tweaks. Then we launch!

The whole process usually takes about 4 weeks once we get started, depending on your availability for feedback and approvals. I’ll guide you through each step so you’re never left wondering what comes next.

That’s completely okay! Most folks I work with feel that way at first. You don’t need a full plan or perfect content to get started. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, help you clarify what makes the most sense for your goals, and walk you through the process step by step.

You can start by filling out the Start Here form. Just share whatever you do know, and we’ll figure out the rest together!

Absolutely! The base package includes up to 5 pages, which is plenty for most folks, but we can add more if you need them. I also offer things like landing pages, donation buttons, or email sign-up forms. If there’s something specific you have in mind, just ask and I’ll let you know what’s possible.

If the full price isn’t doable upfront, you can choose the monthly plan to spread the cost over 18 months instead. You’ll still get the exact same service - there’s no difference in what’s included. We’ll launch your website after your third monthly payment, and ownership of the site transfers to you once the full balance is paid. Until then, I’ll make sure everything’s working smoothly.

I typically build websites using WordPress, since it offers a nice balance of flexibility, ease of use, and long-term support for small teams. I do, however, use lightweight tools and themes that keep things fast and maintainable - no bloated plugins or confusing dashboards here.

If you’re already using another platform (like Squarespace or Wix), that’s okay too — I’m familiar with most of the common systems and am happy to talk through the best fit for your needs.

Most likely, yes! While I usually recommend WordPress for new builds, I’ve worked with Squarespace, Wix, Weebly, and straight up HTML/CSS too. If you already have a site you’d like to refresh or update, I’m happy to take a look and let you know what’s possible.

Just fill out the Start Here form and I’ll follow up with next steps — no pressure, just a thoughtful review.

Still have questions? I’m happy to help.
